Creative workshops for kids

For various social organizations, I have developed drawing and painting lessons and I volunteer to teach them. The goal of these lessons is to encourage children to look at creations and art, to learn to appreciate them and to gain creative insights. When they approach this with curiosity and enjoy the process, their motivation to learn increases significantly.

I use a presentation with visuals and sound, which fosters interaction. The child’s story and experience are central to the lesson. Afterward, a drawing and/or painting lesson related to art follows. Children are encouraged to complete the assignment using their own imagination and creativity. The lessons include drawing Mickey Mouse, Pixar animations, Vincent van Gogh’s sunflowers, among others.

These drawing and painting lessons have been offered to organizations such as Stichting Woej, Stichting Dans aan de Vliet and YOU Talent.
