Asmara Ritmeijer

At the age of 26, Asmara Ritmeijer has already built an impressive career as a presenter, reporter and programmer at Sophia Media at Sophia Children’s Hospital since 2017. After many beautiful, joyful and emotional moments she has been privileged to experience, she has come to the discovery to develop herself further to start spreading her vision.

Her mission arose at the age of 11 when her parents separated. As an 11-year-old girl, while standing in front of Youth Services, she said, “Someday I will truly stand beside the child, I don’t know exactly how yet, but I believe there are multiple opportunities and we need to start working together. But maybe her journey will look like Columbus’s – the unknown path she will take to achieve her vision and mission.

In addition to Sophia Media, Asmara Ritmeijer is also committed to the social and emotional development of children and to children of divorced parents at the Villa Pinedo Foundation, where she is a speaker. She has taken the stage to speak for organizations such as the Council for the Protection of Children, where she is committed to making the child’s voice heard in complex family situations.

Working as a speaker and presenter has made Asmara realize that entertainment and social issues can come together perfectly. By combining her experience with her commitment to social issues, she can have a greater impact and create awareness about important issues affecting children and families.

For Asmara, the voice of the child is always at the center of everything she does. She recognizes that children make valuable and authentic contributions to understanding complex situations and that their voices should be heard and taken seriously. This principle remains a core value in her work and life, and she works tirelessly to provide a platform for children to have their voices heard.

Asmara strongly believes that the child’s voice is valuable and that it has a lasting impact on every individual, even as they become adults. By cherishing and respecting the voice of the child, she contributes to a society that is aware of the rights and interests of children, and where their well-being is paramount.

Her dedication to the well-being of children, her commitment as a speaker and her continued belief in the value of the child’s voice make Asmara Ritmeijer an inspiring personality in promoting children’s rights and supporting vulnerable but also very strong children in society.

“Let the voice of the child, be the strength of the future.
